Changing the HiDrive account user name.

If you want to change your HiDrive user name, it is not necessary to delete the existing account. You can do this via the link

 Please note the following effects when changing your user name:

Mailupload
If you use the Mail Upload feature, the email address changes as the HiDrive user account is used as part of the email address. Please notify your recipients about the change in email address. You can display the email address by right clicking on the Mail Upload folder.

Network drive integration
If you integrated your previous user name as a network drive into your HiDrive account, you must initiate the setup again. 

Log in to the HiDrive Login area
Changing your user name means that in future you have to log in with your new user name in all HiDrive areas which require you to log in. Your old user name is no longer valid once it has been changed. This also applies to the HiDrive Strato Login area at
