What is contract transfer and what do I need to consider?


Contract transfer means that the complete customer number (reference number) with all its domains and packages is transferred to another person (contractual partner).

In order to complete a contract transfer, we need a Declaration of Assignment from the old contractual partner and a Declaration of Consent from the new contractual partner. You can use our Contract Transfer form to provide this information, which must be signed by both contractual parties.

Please note:
  • The new account holder and new contractual partner must be identical.
  • Unclaimed periods will not be reimbursed or offset if you transfer your contract before the regular end of contract.

Note
The new customer (contractual partner) takes over the contract with all rights and obligations. The service fee for contract transfer and the costs of the package will be charged to the new customer (contractual partner).
