How many domains can I order?
There is no limit on the number of domains you can order with STRATO. You can add up to 15 promotional packages to your cart in every order and up to 100 additional domains with each of these packages. The domain extension doesn’t matter, so the decision on whether to order a .com or another top level domain is entirely up to you.
How do I link the domain to my web space?
Once you have placed the order, you will be given the option to link the domain to your web space in the STRATO Login. You can simply redirect the domain if you already have a hosting package. Your STRATO domain can also be used to access web space on your proprietary server or with another provider.
What can I do if my desired domain is already taken?
1. You are already the owner with a different provider = domain transfer
You are already the domain owner, but would like to benefit from our advantages and offers? If so, simply initiate a domain transfer in the domain checker and move your domain to us.
2. It has already been reserved by another owner = find out their contact details
You want to secure a domain that is already reserved? Make contact with the owner and negotiate. Perhaps you can reach an agreement. The contact details are usually found in the legal notice on the website.
3. Order an alternative domain name
The domain checker will suggest alternatives that you may find inspiring. Experiment with different spellings, perhaps with hyphens or in combination with other extensions.
